N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone is colorless, transparent and alkalescent liquid, with a boiling point of 212ºC. It is a polarity organic solvent. It can dissolve mutually with water and solvent at any proportion.
N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone (NEP) is an organics synthesis intermediates.
