Bending test:
Bend the tube 360º over a mandrel of 3 times, the diameter no kinking, cracking or other defect.

Flaring test:
Increase the OD 25% with the flaring reshed of the 1:10 spindle taper, no broken or crack

Flatten test:
The weld shall be placed at 90º from the direction of applied force, no crack or flaw when flattened between parallel plates to a distance equal to three times the wall thickness.

Pressure-resistant properties: 
Keep in 41.2MPa pressure for 5 minutes, no burst or leakage phenomenon.

Water resistance: 
Soaked in 40 ºC distilled water for 240h, no red rust and blistering.

Gravelometer/Salt Spray test: 
1. Perform gravelometer testing in room temperature then doing salt spray test. Tubing shall show no red rust after 2000 hours of exposure time at non-gravel impacted areas; red rust is allowable up to 1 mm from impacted areas. 
2. Putting samples in -40ºC for 4 hours, then perform gravelometer testing before doing salt spray test. Tubing shall show no red rust after 2000 hours of exposure time at non-gravel impacted areas; red rust is allowable up to 1 mm from impacted areas. Make six cuts, which are deep enough to expose the steel substrate. The cuts can be parallel to the tube, interval is 1cm. Then do the high and low temperature cyclical test. Temperature increases to 125ºC at the speed of 5ºC/min for 1 hour; at the speed of 3ºC/min reducing to -40ºCfor 2 hours; performing 1500h resistance corrosion test after 6 times cyclical. After test the PA12 coating shall show no lifting or delamination. Red rust is allowed only at the knife cut.

Liquid resistance: 
Respectively soaked in brake fluid, power steering fluid, motor oil at 50 +/- 2 °C and soaked in 35% sulphuric acid, gasoline (unleaded), anti-freezer, windshield washer at 23 +/- 2 °C for 504 hours. No lifting and blistering coating should be evident at knife cut under 10X magnification

1. No scribed samples:
Assessing after gravelometer test. Then do 2000h salt spray test, and then do burst pressure test. The burst value should be more than 80% of original value.
2. Scribed samples:
2000h salt spray test, then do burst pressure test. All the burst value should be more than 80% of original value.

Salt Spray test: over 2000-3000 hours without red rust

Appearance: 
The coating shall be uniform in color and free from discontinuities such as flow lines, pin holes, craters or abnormal roughness. The coating shall be black in color.
